Ship layup

Due to the increasing demand for quayspace and layup berths for ships in the Netherlands, Dutch Ship Services is able to provide you with quayspace and berths on various locations in The Netherlands. 

We also remind you that the Law of  the Netherlands offers a good possibility to arrest vessels and sell them eventually by public auction through a court sale. 

This auction can take place already after 6 weeks of the arrest of the vessel. 

Therefore we feel that for banks or lawyers this proposal could be of interest.

We have various facilities for a ship lay up in the greater Rotterdam area and in the port of Terneuzen.

At most of these places the vessels are not affected by the tide and thus the ships can be laid up with a very limited crew only or even without crew.

Dutch Ship Services can offer you these lay-by facilities for ships with a length to 130 meter with draft upto 5 meter but also upto 230 meters length with a draft of maximum 12 meters in Terneuzen.

If required extra services, such as supply of electricity,  technical support, watchmen, repairs etc can be provided.
